Amit Karo was born in Jerusalem and grew up in a small village in the desert. His curiosity for art began at a young age and then was explored more deeply when he found a passion for sculpting. This led Amit to Italy’s Florence Academy of Art in 2018 to learn figurative sculpting and drawing from the masters. He studied intensively in Florence for 3 years and then spent 2 more years as an artist in residence and an instructor. Today, Amit is currently teaching at atelier Weber’s studio and continuing to create.
